The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), Karachi, has called for a comprehensive, transparent and merit-based policy for the promotion of doctors. This was stated by the general secretary of PMA Karachi, Dr Samrina Hashmi, in a statement here on Tuesday.
She said that seniority and merit should always be considered. She further demanded that there should also be a co-ordinated policy for those who are serving in the same grade for the past 15 years or more.
