The leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was gunned down by two unidentified motorcyclists in the limits of Meethadahar police station on Tuesday. According to police, two unknown persons riding on motorcycle opened fire on PML-N Sindh's joint secretary Syed Aijazul Hassan Zaidi at Camel Street near New Chali. Two bullets pierced his skull and he died on the spot.
Police on the complaint of Syed Farazul Hassan Zaidi, son of the deceased, have registered an FIR 369/2009 under section 302. Further investigation is underway.
