US MIDDAY: cocoa up, coffee little changed

US cocoa reversed higher in early trade Tuesday, partially retracing the previous day's losses with a boost from the firm pound, while arabica coffee futures were little changed in choppy dealings, traders said. Arabica coffee for July delivery up 0.25 cent at $1.1565 per lb by 9:06 am EDT (1306 GMT).
Wide session range from $1.1410 to $1.1595. July volume at 2,057 lots. The rest of the contracts ranged from 0.20 cent higher to 0.90 cent lower. Benchmark July cocoa rose $17 to $2,398 per tonne by 9:07 am. Ranging from $2,367 to $2,405. July volume at 1,701 lots. The rest of the board gained $10 to $11.
