Mixed trend seen on grain market

Mixed trend was seen on the grain and seed market on Wednesday as buyers did forward buying in anticipation go further rise in the prices, dealers said.
On the cereal side sugar better type was down by Rs 20 to Rs 4,230 while low type did not move any side at Rs 4,170 gur, however, tended higher on strong demand, inferior type looked ahead, rising by Rs 100 to Rs 5,100 and good type picked up Rs 200 to Rs 5,600, they said.
On the grams side yellow peas Canada low type was up by Rs 110 and better type also followed the same pattern gaining Rs 90 to Rs 2800 and dal yellow peas Canada rose by Rs 100 to Rs 2950-3200, they said.
On the seed side, rapeseed Nawabshah shed Rs 25 to Rs 1,500-1,525 and cakes good type was lower by Rs 5 to Rs 715 while the inferior quality stayed put at Rs 710, they said.
