Fehmida condemns Karachi violence

Dr Fehmida Mirza, Speaker National Assembly has strongly condemned the unfortunate incidents of violence in various parts of Karachi city, resulting in loss of precious lives, property and disrupting peace in the city. Expressing grief over the sad incidents, the Speaker said that these incidents were an attempt to weaken the country and disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the city.
She said that the incidents of firing and burning public transport and property in Karachi are matter of great concern and needed to be probed to know the hidden designs of the perpetrators. The Speaker also expressed grief over loss of precious lives and sympathised with the families of the victims. She also appealed to the people to shun their difference, forge unity among their ranks and remain peaceful. She also called upon the law enforcing agencies to apprehend the culprits and bring them to justice.-PR
