President Asif Ali Zardari has appointed Chaudhry Iftikhar Hussain as judge of Lahore High Court, says a press release issued by Press and Information Department. Appointment of Chaudhry Iftikhar Hussain comes in pursuance to the Supreme Court of Pakistan's judgement in Constitution Petition No 41 of 2005 (Chaudhry Iftikhar Hussain Vs. Federation of Pakistan).
The President has appointed Chaudhry Iftikhar Hussain to be a judge of Lahore High Court with immediate effect.
