Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Babar Awan has said that Pakistan came into being after unprecedented sacrifices of the Muslims of the Sub-Continent and those who offer their lives for the safeguard of freedom and defence of the country would be remembered and their name would remain alive for ever.
He said this, while expressing condolence with the family members of Captain Najam Riaz Raja Shaheed at Glore of Thoha Khalisa of Tehsil Kahuta, who embraced Shahadat while fighting militants in Swat. Dr Babar Awan offered Fateha and prayed that Almighty Allah bestow courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with patience. Expressing her feelings, mother of the Shaheed Captain, Gulbahar Begum said "I am proud of the Shahadat of my son.
If I had 10 sons, I would have sacrificed all of them for the sake of Pakistan. I do not need anything she said but, I request for a cadet college for Kahuta to produce sons like Captain Najam Riaz Raja." The Federal Minister assured her that a cadet college would be established and problems of the area would be solved. Later, the Minister went to the grave of the Shaheed Captain and placed floral wreath on it. A smart contingent of Police gave solute to the Shaheed Captain.-PR
