A team of hundred doctors announced by the Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Malakand division have started providing healthcare facilities at camps. Mardan Medical Complex has been made a base camp for the medical team of Punjab whereas 12 teams of doctors have been formed to provide treatment facilities to the affected people.
Spokesman of medical team Dr Azhar Masood Bhatti told APP that the Punjab based doctors have set-up labour room in Mardan Medical Complex for the IDPs where expert gynaecologists have been appointed. He said that two babies were born in the hospital adding that 45 children and 400 patients of surgery were attended to in the medical camp. Dr Azhar Masood Bhatti said that the team of doctors from Punjab was serving the ailing humanity with national zeal and fervour in this hour of need.
