Navy dispatches 10 trucks of relief goods for IDPs

Pakistan Navy on Saturday dispatched 10 trucks containing 86 tonnes of relief goods for the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Swat. Pakistan Navy Women Association (PNWA) also contributed 2 trucks for this great cause. The relief goods included a large quantity of eatables comprising flour, rice, cooking oil, pulses, sugar, milk powder, fresh milk and tinned jam.
In addition to the eatables, a variety of household items, including buckets and water storage tanks were also the part of relief package. At PNS ZAFAR, Commander North, Commodore Syed Hassan Mustafa SI(M) seen off the trucks carrying relief goods for the victims of Swat. While talking to media he said that Pakistan Navy launched relief operation to share griefs of the victims and Pakistan Navy is always ready to contribute for such a noble cause. All Pakistan Navy Units whether in Islamabad or Karachi donated funds with open heart for relief.-PR
