Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has announced the result of examinations held for registration and equivalence of foreign graduates under National Examination Board (NEB). According to a press release issued here on Saturday, total 409 candidates appeared in the examination for MBBS/BDS Theory, in which 118 were declared successful in medical whereas in the dental examination one out of five candidate was declared successful.
The clinical/OSCE part of the examination for candidates, which had cleared the written part was held on Saturday. Total 151 candidates appeared in the examination, 118 fresh and 33 reappeared, in which 134 were declared successful and they will now be registered with the PM&DC for house job.
The clinical/OSCE examination for dental graduates is scheduled to be held on May 29 and May 30 at de'montmorancy College of Dentistry, Lahore. The examination is conducted biannually to assess the professional competency of the foreign medical and dental graduates who have Pakistani nationality in order to register their basic qualifications with the PM&DC.
