LHC Chief Justice asks Centre and Punjab to repatriate all judicial officers

Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Khawaja Muhammad Sharif here on Thursday has asked the federal and provincial government of Punjab to repatriate and relieve all the judicial officers working under their jurisdiction. The Registrar LHC has written letters to Secretary Law and Justice Division Islamabad and Secretary Services (SandGAD) Punjab.
The Chief Justice also issued postings/transfers and repatriation orders among District and Sessions Judges, Senior Civil Judges and Civil Judges-cum-Judicial magistrates. According to a notification, the DandSJ Allah Bakhsh Ranjha (Secretary Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department) from Lahore to Lahore High Court on repatriation for further posting, Wamiq Javed (Joint Secretary, Law and Justice Division) from Islamabad to Lahore on repatriation for further posting, Mehboob Qadir Shah (Solicitor to Government Punjab) from Lahore to LHC on repatriation for further posting, Muhammad Ikram (Registrar Federal Taz Ombudsman Secretariat) from Islamabad to LHC on repatriation for further posting.
The Senior Civil Judge Muhammad Sarfraz Akhtar (Deputy Secretary, Law and Parliamentary Affairs department), Muhammad Yaqoob (Deputy Secretary, Law and Parliamentary Affairs department), Shahid Sikandar (Deputy Secretary, Law and Parliamentary Affairs department) and Wajihuddin Tariq (Deputy Secretary Law and Parliamentary Affairs department) all belonged to Lahore, on repatriation for their further posting.
