A labourer, hit and run over by an over-speeding bus, died on Friday in a nearby village. A resident of nearby village Thaikwan Sharif EB 71, identified as Muneer Ahmed, was crossing the road after getting off from a wagon when a speeding bus hit him and ran over him. The man died on the spot, stated the police. The bus driver escaped from the scene. The deceased was father of seven children.
