NH&MP arrest two pickpockets

The National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) has arrested two professional pickpockets involved in many cases of pickpocketing by offering intoxicated food items to the passengers. The NH&MP officers also recovered intoxicated tablets, looted money and mobile phone sets from their possession.
As per details, as the NH&MP officers were on their routine patrol on Motorway (M-2) in the area of Kot momin, a bus No LXL-3351 going from Peshawar to Lahore reached Kot momin river and approached them. The bus staff told the officers that the passenger sitting on seat No 17 is lying unconsciousness.
The NH&MP officers, SPO Muhammad Iqbal and PO Bilal Ahmed advised all the passengers not to go anywhere. They immediately disembarked the unconscious passenger and sent him to Hospital through NH&MP ambulance. Interrogating the passengers to find out the reason, it was revealed that the two passengers sitting next to his seat offered him intoxicated juice, which he took and fell unconscious.
The Motorway Police officers immediately arrested these two passengers, Abid s/o Shamus-ur-Rehman and Khayal Muhammad r/o Peshawar and recovered more intoxicated tablets, money and mobile telephone set looted from the victim from their possession. They also confessed that they carried similar criminal activities by dosing passengers with intoxicated drugs. Later on, the arrested culprits were handed over to the local police for further legal action and investigation.-PR
