Senior CSP officers visit Faisalabad city

A delegation of Senior CSP Officers nominated as Commercial Attaches in different Pakistani Embassies of Foreign countries visited Faisalabad and called on Acting Commissioner Saeed Wahalah to get first hand information about the condition of the city.
Acting Commissioner briefed the members of delegations about the industrial and business aspects of Faisalabad and its extra ordinary importance as a city of trade and business which was contributing huge foreign exchange from exports. He told that a feasibility report was being prepared for the shifting of industrial units from densely populated areas of the city to industrial estate and value added city near Khurrianwala.
Wahlah told that City District Government has taken effective steps for solid waste management to keep city neat and clean. He told that the important roads of Faisalabad city was in deplorable condition for which road rehabilitation plan had been chalked out for the durable construction of main roads of the city.
He said that the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif during his previous visit to Faisalabad ordered and approved the development package for the improvement and construction of 21 most important city roads, which would be constructed and improved by NLC. He also told that a widened approach road was being constructed which will linked to M-3.
Acting Commissioner also told that some problems were raised by the industrialists and labourers due to the load shedding of electricity and gas which were resolved by the local administration with the consultation of higher authorities of concerned departments.
