Shahbaz reviews priorities of Punjab budget

Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif chaired a nearly three-hour long meeting on Wednesday to set the priorities for the next provincial budget and Annual Development Programme (ADP). This is a part of the meetings being held regularly in this regard under the Chairmanship of the chief minister.
Punjab Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning and Development Board, Secretary Finance and senior officers concerned were present in the meeting, which discussed projects of public welfare and development of the province in detail.
The CM said that the government attached top priority to the provision of health, education and other basic facilities to the masses. He said that next ADP should focus on such welfare-oriented projects. Participants in the meeting also reviewed forthcoming provincial budget and ADP and submitted their proposals in this regard.
