'Pakistan will continue supporting Kashmiris'

Pakistan will continue its support for the Kashmiri people in their just struggle and will not leave them in lurch. Chairman Parliamentary Kashmir Committee, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman, assured the Kashmiri leaders, who called on him under the leadership of Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai here on Friday.
Pakistanis' hearts throb with the hearts of Kashmiris and the formers will stand shoulder to shoulder with the latter. The Kashmiri leaders thanked Pakistan for its unflinching support for the Kashmir cause. They also appreciated the efforts of the Kashmir Committee for projection of the their issue.
They observed that the Kashmir Committees have all along been have been forthright on the Kashmir issue, truly representing the sentiments of the nation. The Chairman, Kashmir Committee paid glowing tributes to the Kashmiris for rendering heroic sacrifices for their noble cause, which will certainly bear fruits. Pakistan has a great regard for them, he said.
Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai, who is Executive Director of Kashmiri American Council, briefed the Chairman on the working of the Council. He also invited the Kashmir Committee to sent its delegation to the forthcoming Kashmir Conference being organised by the Council.
The other Kashmiri leaders who called on the Chairman were Farooq Rehmani, Dr Walid Rasool, Mehmood Saghir, Sardar Zulfiqar Khan and Rafiq Dar. Minister for Communication Dr Arbab Alamgir Khan and Chairman National Highway Authority (NHA) also held a meeting with Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman. The latter called for expediting the work on Indus Highway and D.I. Khan By-pass road as well as for constructing a bridge connecting the Kundal Road with Mianwali.
