A group of 48 men appeared before the DCO on Friday and complained about the land mafia operating in the district. DCO Qazi Muhammad Ashfaq constituted a committee comprising Dep. Distt Officer Revenue (DDOR) Ali Akbar Bhatti, Distt Officer Co-ordination Zafar Ali, DDOR Kabirwala and Tehsildar Jahanian to hold an enquiry into the matter.
The DCO also ordered the police to register a case against Patwari Muhammad Arif. He instructed the committee to submit complete report at the earliest.
