Services of 29 contract employees of Pakistan Television, Peshawar Centre from 1 to 3 groups have been regularised in accordance with the desire of late BBenazir Bhutto and the Pakistan Peoples Party's manifesto.
According to a press release issued on Sunday, in this connection a ceremony was held, wherein General Manager, PTV Peshawar, Majeedullah Khalil handed over the letters of regularisation to the employees on behalf of the Managing Director, PTV Arshad Khan.
Khalil in his address on the occasion said that performance of the organisation would improve with the regularisation of these employees, adding that they would get motivated and play their role more effectively for the betterment of PTV.
It may be mentioned that inline with the directives of the Prime Minister, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, cases of 804 employees had been processed among, which 475 were completed in all respects. The rest of employees would also be regularised after completion of their papers.
