Army distributes relief goods among IDPs

Army Karachi Corps distributed relief goods among IDPs here at the Army Relief Center, Rashid Minhas Road, here Saturday morning. A large number of IDPs received the aid. This family package for two weeks contains rice, wheat flour, sugar, cooking oil along with a water cooler. Last week too, army distributed relief items among the affected people.
It is worth mentioning that army has already announced its deduction of one day pay and is also giving part of its daily ration (items of daily food; flour, sugar, ghee and pulses) to help the IDPs. The food items so provided are able to feed about 80,000 adults daily. Along with this, the army has established two Field Hospitals and has placed medical resources in all IDP camps, says a press release of ISPR.
