Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) central leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi on Saturday said that his party has set a new tradition by playing the role of 'constructive opposition'. He said this while talking to a delegation of Ulema led by Muttahida Jamiat Ahle Hadith (MJAH) Allama Syed Ziaullah Shah Bukhari who called on him, here on Saturday.
Allama Syed Ziaullah Shah Bukhari on the occasion praised PML-Q leadership for playing the role of true opposition. He also announced his party's unconditional support to the PML-Q. Talking to the participants of the delegation, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that his party had set the direction of the country's politics by playing true role of opposition that has also been acknowledged by the countrymen.
He claimed that popularity graph of his party has increased among the masses due to its pro-people approach. He expressed gratitude to MJAH leaders for announcing unconditional support to his party. Allama Syed Ziaullah Shah Bukhari on the occasion said, "it is wrong perception that Muttahida Jamiat Ahle Hadith is supporter of the PML-N." Allama Sajid Mir is with Sharif brothers in his personal capacity, he added.
