Federal Minister for Investment, Senator Waqar Ahmad Khan, who is on a state visit to China and Hong Kong for a week, visited Hong Kong and met business community to attract investment. Senator Waqar Ahmad Khan apprised them about the investment opportunities in Oil and Gas research, housing and agriculture sectors.
He also stated that the democratic government of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is providing the investors privileges, Chinese investors should take benefit of that by investing in Pakistan. Federal Minister especially visited and addressed Pakistani community living in Hong Kong.
During his address, he stated that 'every individual, who lives abroad, is an Ambassador of Pakistan. It is your responsibility to work individually and collectively to motivate the investors to come Pakistan.' President of Pakistani Association, in Hong Kong, Captain Shahzad Saleem while addressing, welcomed the Minister and ensured him to work for the betterment of Pakistan. He also hailed the endeavours of the PPP government to attract maximum foreign investors by pursuing "investment friendly" policies.-PR
