Investigation police arrest three culprits

The Investigation Police Civil Lines have apprehended three culprits of Nauman alias Nomy Shah gang involved in multiple acts of robbery, dacoity and street crimes and have recovered five cell phones, 16,000 cash, telephone wire worth rupees 20 thousand and illegal weapons from their possession.
During preliminary investigation, the culprits have disclosed committing many acts of robbery, dacoity and street crimes. According to the details, Capital City Police Officer Muhammad Pervez Rathore gave instructions to DIG Investigation Dr Shoaib Dastagir to eradicate crimes of robbery, dacoity and street crimes from the city, who gave special target to SP Investigation Civil Lines Dr Haider Ashraf.
The SP Investigation Civil Lines constituted a special team, under the leadership of DSP Malik Manzoor Ahmed and Incharge Investigation Mughalpura, Inspector Raheel Amjad and other officials, to arrest the gangs involved in such crimes, which, working day and night, collected necessary particulars of the culprits and arrested them from Griffon Ground on the tip-off. The modus operandi of the culprits was that they used to snatch mobile phones and cash from the passers-by and run away. The criminals are history-sheeters and seven more cases have also been traced against them in police stations Mughalpura. A special team has also been constituted for the arrest of a member of the gang, still at large. Further investigation is underway.
Capital City Police Officer, Muhammad Pervez Rathore has announced cash prizes and commendatory certificates for the special police team, whose members also included: Sub-Inspector Abdul Hameed, ASI Muhammad Haneef, Abdul Khaliq, Muhammad Rafique, Habib Ullah, Maqsood Ahmed, Shaukat Ali, Irfan, Abdul Razzaq, Mustanir Khan, Shamshad Khan and Ghulam Mustafa.
