Rains with thunderstorm forecast for Sindh

Rain with thunderstorm and gushing winds is expected during the next 24 in various parts of the province of Sindh including Karachi according to forecast issued by the Met Office here on Thursday. According to Met Office, moderate rain was also recorded in various parts of the Sindh and weather remained dry and hot in other parts of the country during the past 24 hours.
However, weather will remain partly cloudy in eastern parts of the country during the next 24 hours as per the forecast. The minimum temperatures were recorded as 24 C in Islamabad, 29 C in Lahore, 30 C in Karachi, 26 C in Peshawar, 17 C in Quetta, 21 C in Murree and 22 C in Muzaffarabad in the morning of Thursday.
It may be mentioned here that monsoon rains will begin likely from the first week of the next month and most probably on July 6th and it would be normal rains according to the maps and research data being collected by the Met Office. The monsoon rains would start from the upper parts of Kashmir this year and these would be normal rains according to research data so far as always monsoon rains enter from the neighbouring country.
