Chinese Defence Minister Liang Guanglie met here on Friday with Pakistan's Chief of Air Staff Rao Qamar Suleman vowing to further strengthen the traditional friendship. "China and Pakistan share a comprehensive traditional friendship, "said Liang, adding China appreciated Pakistan's strong support on issues concerning China's core interests.
Given the new situation, China-Pakistan Strategic Co-operative Partnership should be increasingly cherished, Liang said. He also hoped that bilateral ties could move forward in a sustained, healthy and stable way. "China is ready to work with Pakistan to enhance military exchanges and co-operation," he said.
