Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Babar Awan visited here at CDA Headquarter on Saturday. He was welcomed and briefed by the Chairman CDA, Imtiaz Hayat Elahi on the policies and priorities of the CDA. Dr Babar Awan, while, congratulating the Chairman CDA on his taking over the charge, said that he is pleased to know that the priorities set by him are realistic and welfare oriented.
The Federal Minister said that, all the major issues of the city relating to "Katchi Abadis", encroachments, non-confirming use, water shortages, bringing under-developed/ neglected sectors at par with developed sectors and steps to resolve issues of occupation of D-12 and I-15 to allottees have already been spelled out by the Chairman CDA.
Dr Babar Awan said, 'I would like to add few more issues that also need attention of the CDA.' He said that CDA shall pay more attention to control the fire at Margalla Hills, which erupts frequently.-PR
