The ‘La La Land’ actress Emma Stone has ousted Jennifer Lawrence to claim the top spot on Forbes' 2017 list of the world's highest-paid actresses. Stone, 28, collected $26 million, mostly thanks to her Oscar-winning performance as Mia, a barista and aspiring actress, in the musical juggernaut ‘La La Land’.
According to Forbes, She beats Jennifer Aniston (No. 2; $25.5 million) who continues to bank millions more than a decade after Friends' conclusion, thanks to regular roles in movies such as The Yellow Birds. But Aniston, 48, makes most of her money by endorsing the likes of Emirates airlines, Smartwater and Aveeno. Former top-ranked Jennifer Lawrence comes in at No. 3, notching just over half her 2016 total ($24 million).
Melissa McCarthy landed the No.4 spot with $18 million, while Mila Kunis is named the fifth highest-paid actress with $15.5 million. Other actress who made it to the top 10 list includes Emma Watson, Charlize Theron, Julia Roberts and Amy Adams.
