Three people were killed in two separate violent incidents in the metropolis on Monday, police and witnesses said. Two persons including a businessman were gunned down by unidentified armed men in the jurisdiction of Al-Falah police. SHO Adnan Shah said a businessman Abdullah, aged 30, was going to market along with his driver Qalandar from his home situated in Al-Badr Mohalla.
When the businessman reached near the Shamsi Society, two armed men riding a motorcycle intercepted his car and opened fire, leaving the businessman and his driver dead on the spot, he added. In another incident, a 45-year-old man was shot dead by unknown gunmen in the limits of Awami police station. Arshad Din, son of Lal Din, was on his way to office when four armed men riding motorbikes opened fire on him. The deceased was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsy.
