Session range from $1.1945 to $1.2110. October raw sugar contract down 0.04 cent at 17.81 cents per lb at 11:06 am. Trading range from 17.70 to 18.01 cents.
Sugar sagged on light investor sales as market digested news of 1.3 million tonnes of sugar delivered at expiration of July raw sugar contract, said traders. Benchmark September cocoa contract $11 higher to $2,521 at 11:06 am. Trading range from $2,504 to $2,580. US cocoa futures higher on new quarter buying and the firm sterling against the dollar, but volume remained thin, said dealers.
