Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Saturday that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and its coalition partners would introduce necessary legislation for protection of children's rights.
He was speaking as chief guest at a function organised by two groups called Save the Children and Plan Pakistan, in collaboration with National Press Club (NPC) here as part of the campaign for child protection. The minister assured the audience that he would advocate the cause in the Parliament and added that all the political parties would join hands to pass a bill on protection of children's rights.-PR
