Frontier Corps Balochistan arrested an alleged terrorist and recovered arms and ammunition from him here on Saturday, a FC official said. According to the official, FC patrolling party nabbed a suspect at the Western Bypass when he was fleeing after confronting the security vehicle.
During the search the forces recovered 25 kilograms of high explosives, one Russian made anti tank mine, two Russian hand grenades, a pistol along with a number of rounds, a length of wire which could be used to detonate the explosives. The terrorist presumably wanted to blow up a bridge over Brewery nullah. He was handed over to Brewery police for interrogation.
