Over 70,000 IDP families issued Relief Cards

Relief cards have been issued to more than 70,000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) families out of 2,73,000 families affected by the ongoing military operation 'Rah-e-Raast' in Malakand division, said Brigadier Badr-uz-Zaman, Field Commander of the Special Support Group of the Pakistan Army on Saturday.
"The affected families, which have been issued relief cards, have so far drawn Rs 1.04 billion on these cards," he said while talking to the media at Gurdwara Panja Sahib after distributing relief cards among 220 Sikh families. He said water, power and other civic amenities had been provided in Buner district and return of the affected Sikh families to the area would begin from July 10.
