Musharraf sees foreign hand in terrorist activities

Former President General Pervez Musharraf has said that foreign elements are involved in destabilising the situation in Pakistan. In an interview with an English Magazine, he said foreign elements, which were involved in terrorist activities acquire money and ammunition from Afghanistan. He said narcotics money and resources in Afghanistan were being used in terrorist activities in Pakistan.
He said it was vital to win war in Afghanistan, which will also stabilise the situation in Pakistan. To a question, the retired General said Akbar Bugti had challenged the writ of the government and security forces launched operation against him. He said there was no option except operation.
The former President said he had played a vital role in eliminating politics of victimisation. He said during his tenure, Kashmir problem was about to be resolved as Pakistan and India had reached to an agreement. He said Indian secret agency RAW had increased its activities in Balochistan to destabilise the situation. He asked USA and the West to change mind about Pakistan.
