Government wants respectable return of IDPs: Wattoo

Minister for Industries and Production, Mian Manzoor Wattoo has said the government wants respectable return of IDPs to their respective areas. Talking to a private TV channel, he said the government will provide all required items to IDPs on their return. He said his ministry has initiated a special programme for 'Revival of Malakand' division.
Under the programme, Manzoor Wattoo said that his ministry will open vocational and skilled development centres in the operation zone. He said, the government is committed to restore infrastructure destroyed due to operation in the Malakand division.
To a question, he said ongoing operation in Malakand division has the backing of parliament and the whole nation. He said, the operation is aimed at establishing government's writ and to improve law and order situation in the areas. He recalled that some elements in Malakand division had created state within state, and wanted to impose their own agenda through the force.
Manzoor Wattoo said, the government and opposition jointly devise strategy to deal with elements who, wanted to challenge writ of the government. He lauded the service of security forces for rendering unmatched sacrifices for the restoration of peace in the area.
