HBL to introduce new products

Head of Retail and Commercial Lending Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Mubashar Maqbool said that the bank was going to introduce some new products, including a small financing scheme for small businesses Speaking at a meeting of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Thursday, he said that the small financing scheme would be launched next month.
The scheme would have all the ingredients to meet the needs of small businesses. He said, beside introducing the new scheme, the bank was also improving its services and beefing up its interaction with its clients, and reducing the transition time of processing different applications.
Head of Global Operations, HBL, Mudassir H Khan, said that the bank was increasing its national and international branches network. He said that the HBL had the biggest online banking network. The bank had 55 branches in 25 different countries and would be further expanded soon. He said that HBL was working to extend its services to Russia and Kazakhstan. The HBL was dealing with some Irani banks, those on which restrictions had not been imposed.
