Sindh government sanctions increase in pensions

The Sindh government has sanctioned an increase in pension of its pensioners from July 1, 2009 with rate of 20 per cent of those pensioners who retired on or before 30-6-1999 and 15 per cent of those pensioners who retied after 30-6-1999. The 15 percent increase in pension will also be admissible to the pensioners who would retire on or after July 1, 2009.
The government servants who would retire on or after 1-7-2009 will also be entitled for increase in pension at 10 percent and 15 per cent for the purpose of admissibility of increase in pension sanctioned. The Term Net Pension means pension being drawn.
The increase will also be admissible on family pension granted under the 'Pension-cum-Gratuity Scheme,' 1954. Liberalised Pension Rules, 1977, on pension sanctioned under the Central Civil Services (Extra Ordinary Pension) Rules as well as on the Compassionate Allowance under CSR-353.
The increase in pension sanctioned will not be admissible on Special Additional Pension allowed in lieu of pre-retirement Orderly Allowance. The increase in pension allowed by the Government during their re-employment shall not he admissible during the period of their re-employment, but the some will be allowed after the termination of the re-employment contract.-PR
