Swedish football great Zlatan Ibrahimovic backs Conor McGergor to beat boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in multi-millions fight in Las Vegas today.

The 36-year-old Manchester United superstar in an interview compared himself with the UFC champion and said, “he [McGregor] is Ibrahimovic of martial arts and I’m the McGregor of football world.”

“Here you have a guy that has made a career out of many years and that is Mayweather. And you have the other guy that has made a career in short time, but… he made himself a big name.” he said.

“Everything he said he did. And in this case you have the MMA going into the boxing. Before you have boxing trying MMA and he was outclassed immediately,” Zlatan said.

“Me as a huge fan of MMA, I see this fight…. I don’t know, it can go both ways. Either, what people predicted, that Mayweather will win easy, which I don’t believe,” he added.

“I think it is heard fight, I thing Conor has a power he can knock you out from every angle. And he has a confidence like me.”

“I see him with his confidence, he will win,” Ibrahimovic predicted.
