Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Friday said that Pakistanis are celebrating Independence Day when the entire nation, including the minorities, is passing through troublesome time.
Criticising Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said those who were making claims of brining the prices back to the 1997 level and introducing good governance in the country have pushed the nation to the alley of darkness.
He expressed these views while addressing a gathering of PMLQ minority wing at the Muslim League House. Earlier, he hoisted national flag at the Muslim League House. Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Zaheer-ud-Din, President PMLQ minority wing Akram Masih Gill and senior leadership of the party also spoke on the occasion.
