KARACHI: Second spell of rain accompanied with thunderstorms are likely to hit Karachi from Wednesday 30th August 2017 and continue till the first day of Eid on Saturday 2nd September 2017 according to BBC Weather reports.
Accuweather informs that the weather would remain to be cloudy and humid however will be followed by heavy thunderstorms and rains in the afternoon that will continue for three more days including on Eid-ul-Adha. The weather is expected to drop by 27°C to 28°C by night in the upcoming days.
Pakistan Meteorological Department reports that near normal rainfall in northern half and below normal in southern half of the country is anticipated in the upcoming days. Upper Punjab, KP, Azaad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan should most likely expect three to four spells of rainfall with isolated extreme events. However, Sindh and Balochistan are likely to get one or two spells of light to moderate intensity of rainfall and thunderstorms.
As of today, Monday 28th August 2017, hot and humid weather is likely to carry on with mostly 34°C high. Tomorrow’s weather however, is likely to be extremely hot with 39°C high.
