IGP for smooth flow of traffic during Ramazan

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, has directed that smooth flow of traffic be ensured during the month of Ramazan. He issued a directive to this effect to the DIG Traffic here on Sunday. Sultan Salahuddin Babar Khattak further directed that priority be given to those main roads where there are complaints of traffic jams.
He also asked the personnel of traffic police to behave in a courteous manner and exhibit an approach of brotherhood so that there be no unpleasant situation with the people. The IGP also directed the DIG Traffic to ensure that the SPs and DSPs traffic personally control traffic before Iftar in their respective jurisdictions.
The timings of entry of heavy traffic be strictly implemented so that the flow of traffic could not be affected, he further directed.
