PML-Q president Shujaat Hussain has said that "a specific mindset in the establishment" is responsible of killing of Akbar Bugti, and his party would support registration of case against the accused of this murder.
Addressing a news conference here at a hotel along with PML-Q general secretary Mushahid Hussain, he contended that "there exists a specific mindset in the establishment, civil bureaucracy, and some politicians, who used to put hindrances in the rights of small provinces, particularly Balochistan. Such mindset is responsible of killing of Akbar Bugti".

"The government, opposition and all relevant stakeholders would have to sit around a table to find out the resolution to Balochistan issue," he viewed. He said that he and his party leaders would call on the Prime Minister to urge him to visit Balochistan and find out resolution to crisis of this province collectively. He denied to comment on allegations levelled against his party by Jamil Bugti, son of Akbar Bugti. He said that there was no grouping in PML-Q.
He said that those involved in killings of the innocent people were not only enemies of Islam but also of humanity and Balochistan. Mushahid recalled that he had written a letter to Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Raza Rabbani, as a confidence building measure.
