LDA retrieves three public utility sites

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has on Tuesday carried out an operation against illegal occupants and recovered three public utility sites. According to a LDA's spokesman here on Tuesday, the staff of the Estate Management Directorate retrieved three public utility sites in E-1and F-1 blocks of Johar Town, by removing more than 400 makeshift huts at these spots.
These sites included two pieces of land reserved for setting up schools and one for establishing a public park. The operation was concluded peacefully and the occupants were ejected from these places without any resistance.
