It’s just a week remaining to the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and there are rumors revolving about Samsung Galaxy S9.
A Korean website ‘The Investor’ reports that the tech company will supposedly launch its next phone earlier than usual so that it can defend its sales against Apple’s iPhone 8 that is expected to launch on 12th September.
These predictions were made on the basis of Samsung’s supply of OLED panels that are expected to arrive two months before the normal schedule. The panels would start shipping in November for launching the phone early. Based on this, after two to three months of the panels’ arrival, Galaxy S9 would make its debut by late January 2018 and launch worldwide in the start of February 2018, writes Tech Juice.
The phone’s project is dubbed as ‘Star’ by the company. Android Headlines informs that the new flagship would probably contain Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 chipset and run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.
As rumors inform, the phone will have similar features as that of Samsung Galaxy S8 like the Infinity display, dual camera and a fingerprint sensor at the back.
However, these are just rumors and it’s still not confirmed if the phone will be launched by next year or not. However, for now, Samsung is ready to launch its recent Galaxy 8 on September 15th.
