Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Fazlur Rehman has said that the United States of America wants to create a mini Pentagon in Islamabad, as the presence of Blackwater, a security agency, could increase chances of bloodshed in the country. JUI chief was talking to media after visiting the federal minister for religious affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi, who was shifted to Shifa International Hospital on Saturday.
He strongly criticised the expansion plan of the United States embassy in Islamabad and termed it as a great threat for the national security. He added that the Pakistan's time-tested friend China has also shown its concerns over the US's expansion plans of its defence forces in Pakistan.
