Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Hamid Saeed Kazmi, who was injured on September 2 in a terrorist attack, has been shifted to Shifa International Hospital from Polyclinic for plastic surgery, said hospital sources on Saturday. According to the hospital sources, a panel of doctors took this decision on Saturday after examining his health condition.
They were of the view that the minister had fully recovered, but needed plastic surgery. Therefore, due to the unavailability of plastic surgery facility in the hospital, he had been advised to shift to Shifa International Hospital.
