Spearhead Khurram Saleem was declared Man of the Match as his hat-trick enabled Netsoft Football Club to thrash Sabzazar Green 7-1 in All Punjab Peace and Non Violence Football Cup at Model Town Football Academy Ground. Brilliant striker Saleem recorded well-deserved hat-trick in the 7th minutes of the second session after scoring the first two in the 23rd and 37th minute.
Netsoft, who led 4-0 at interval, saw midfielder Muhammad Idrees striking two goals while Wilson and Anis completed the rout. Jansher Khan scored a goal for Sabzazar. The chief guest of the match was Babar, Chairman, American State of Virginia Education and Development Commission, who, later on, awarded Man of the Match cash prize to Saleem. Hakam Ali Memorial Football Club out kicked Gulshan Ravi Football Club 6-5 after 1-1 draw in second match of the day.
The winner took the lead in the 18th minute through midfielder Muhammad Amjad. But Ravi scored goal in the second session through Adnan's 56th minute penalty kick. Nadeem Football Club had easy time as they cut Rahmania Football Club to size with 4-0 win. Man of the Match Amir Khan turned out to be the hero with brace, hitting the net in the 25th min and 55th min while Umer (14th min), Noman Aslam (49th min) were other scorers.
