Punjab Minister for Food, Malik Nadeem Kamran said that under the arrangements made by Punjab Food Department, 13.3 million atta bags of 20-kg each have so far been sold in Ramazan bazaars and mobile points in the province. Similarly, one lakh 64 thousand 685 atta bags of 10-kg each were sent for sale on Wednesday in Lahore.
He said this while presiding over a meeting regarding provision of Sasta atta to the people, here on Thursday. He said that 6,05,000 atta bags of 10-kg were sent for sale out of which 5,98,873 atta bags were sold while 5,638 bags were returned, as there were no buyers.
