A blind student from Layyah, Noor-ul-Huda has secured first position among the special students of the Punjab and fourth position in the Dera Ghazi Khan board in the Intermediate Examinations 2009 by getting 910 marks out of 1100. Talking with newsmen, Noor-ul-Huda told that she had started her education career three years back and got 635 marks out of 850 directly in the Matriculation exams.
She said that it took her two years to prepare for the Intermediate Examination but her writer was changed at the last moment due to which she couldn't get position among the top three. She appealed to Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif to provide her financial assistance to continue study.
