Social security hospitals being provided full facilities

Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resource, Muhammad Ashraf Khan Sohna has said that all social security hospitals in the province are being provided with necessary healthcare facilities so that complete medical cover could be ensured to a maximum number of workers and their families.
He stated this while presiding over a purchase committee meeting in the office of Punjab Social Security here on Monday. Commissioner Social Security Khawaja Dawad Ahmad, Advisor Imtiaz Pervez, Director Purchase Nasir Jamal Pasha were also present on this occasion.
Earlier, The minister had held a meeting with the representatives of renowned pharmaceutical companies and invited their suggestions about the procedure of purchasing medicines for Punjab social security hospitals. All representatives expressed complete satisfaction over the procedure adopted by the department.
On a request from pharma companies representatives for adopting a procedure of earlier payment to companies, the minister assured them to regularise a procedure and to ensure the payments within 30 days of receipt of drug testing laboratory reports of the medicines. Upon which the company representatives thanked the minister and assured a five percent decrease in their rates for the next purchase of the medicines.
