Gold price on Monday declined to Rs 30,500 per tola from historic high of Rs 30,700 on the local market, traders said. Price of 10 grams gold has also dipped to Rs 26,142 from Rs 26,342, while its global price was quoted at $996 per ounce down from $1006. The gold jewellery sale has shrunk to only 10 percent since the price of precious metal started getting impetus globally, traders added.
