UN chief slams suicide bomb attack

UN chief Ban Ki-moon blasted Friday's suicide car bomb attack that killed 33 people in a market. "The secretary general condemns today's suicide car bomb attack at a village market which reportedly killed more than 33 people and injured dozens," a UN statement said.
Ban reiterated his rejection of such "indiscriminate and reprehensible acts of violence" and extended his condolences to the families of the victims and to the Pakistani government.
